Demauri Malin - Corporate Team Volunteer
Demauri has over 12 years of experience working in the military aerospace industry, specializing as a planning and scheduling analyst. She worked on several large military contracts and brings with her a solid strategic planning and organization skill set. She graduated cum laude from Seattle University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
Demauri is a US Army spouse and, while supporting her husband’s military career, she used her business acumen and entrepreneurial skill to start a successful e-commerce business specializing in one-of-a kind handcrafted goods. In her continuing desire to help others, Demauri volunteers as a Type 1 Diabetes mentor with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation helping recently diagnosed adults. She is a member of the Type One Nation and in her spare time, enjoys being an outdoor adventurer engaged in mountain biking, hiking and fly fishing.
Demauri was diagnosed with diabetes over 29 years ago. Since then, she has not let the disease get the best of her. She lives with and successfully manages it every day. She strongly believes, with the proper support, mentoring and coaching a person can develop the determination, perseverance and inner strength to overcome any obstacle to include PTS.
