Daniel York, Founder of VetREST & Chairman of the Board
Dan is a retired Major General in the U.S. Army Reserves with over 36 years of military service. Dan brings leadership experience from the military where he served as a platoon leader, general’s aide de camp, company commander (twice), battalion commander, brigade commander and division commander (three times), in addition to numerous staff assignments.
He brings over twenty years of experience as a pastor, trainer and leadership consultant. He is in demand as a speaker around the world and is the author of eight books and composer of seven albums. Chet H. Cross, Consultant
Chet H. Cross retired as Chemtura's executive vice president of supply chain and operations. He was responsible for their supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, EHS&S and engineering functions.
Mr. Cross joined Chemtura in January 2010 from Ashland Corporation, where he was vice president of operations for Ashland Hercules Water Technologies, primarily responsible for strategic oversight of the global manufacturing footprint and for the global operations and planning organizations. Previously, he held positions of increasing responsibility over two decades with Hercules Incorporated, most recently as general manager for Hercules’s $700 million Americas pulp and paper business and as president of Hercules Canada.
Following his 1980 graduation from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering, Mr. Cross served in the U.S. Army, leading various units and teaching at the U.S. Army Field Artillery School. He retired from the U.S. Army Reserve at the rank of lieutenant colonel.
